“You Did For Me” Giving Campaign: A Lenten Call to Action
Lent is a sacred season that invites us to reflect deeply on Jesus’ sacrifice and His call to live out love through meaningful action. It’s a time to align our hearts with His and extend compassion to others, especially those facing hardships. This year, we invite you to join the "You DID, for Me" Giving Campaign, inspired by Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:40: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (NIV). This campaign is an opportunity to embody Christ’s love and serve those in need, reflecting His compassion in a tangible way.
Matthew 25:40 reminds us of Jesus' call to:
- Show compassion, mercy, and love toward our neighbors.
- Serve all people, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, faith, or citizenship.
- Be faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us to bless others.
- Be kind, welcoming, inclusive, and compassionate, reflecting God’s love in everything we do.
To help churches engage with this meaningful initiative, a Campaign Kit is available. The kit includes resources designed to inspire and mobilize congregations to participate fully in this act of love and service. Together, let us respond to Jesus’ call, making a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable and honoring Christ through our actions.
