Mental Health (Definition)
Mental health is defined as a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own capabilities and can cope with the normal stresses of life.
Today, mental health problems are the leading cause of disability in the United States. Poor mental health comes with real distress and pain that affects the ability to work and form relationships, and can even lead to alcohol and drug use.
