The Apex Latino Arts Festival was piloted in 2010 in order to highlight the presence of Latino arts and culture in our local community and provide an opportunity to build bridges between cultures. Year after year, the Apex Latino Arts Festival continues to grow after tremendous interest and participation. Throughout the day, the Apex Latino Arts Festival hosts a culinary event, arts and crafts workshops for children, traditional piñata breaking ceremonies, Latin American dance and music performances, and an authentic arts and crafts bazaar. Currently, the festival takes place on the first Saturday of every June.
In connection with the Apex Latino Arts Festival, the Halle Cultural Arts Center will host a series of local Latino artists in its galleries representing a variety of Latin American countries.
This event is organized by Fiesta Cristiana in collaboration with the Halle Cultural Arts Center and the city of Apex.
